All Steel’s Team Expands to Meet Industry Growth
Despite the challenges of 2020, the construction industry as a whole has seen tremendous growth.
Climate change and pandemic-related concerns have highlighted the importance of the consolidation of trades, sustainability, and the resilient structural integrity of cold formed steel. As the need for light gauge, load-bearing framing systems continues to rise, All Steel’s team has grown to meet the needs of industry partners nationwide. Additionally, All Steel Mid-Rise has relocated to a larger facility in Columbus, Ohio to handle the increase in demand. Check back next month for an in-depth look at our new facility.
Mike Smith assumes General Manager role
With over 24 years of experience, Mike Smith has a deep understanding and passion for the industry. As a third-generation construction manager, Mike holds several patents for construction materials, construction equipment, and methods of installation. Mike looks forward to being of service to current customers and helping new clients with how the All Steel systems can revolutionize their project.
Josh Tanko promoted to Senior Project Manager
Josh enjoys being a part of the steel industry because it is ever-evolving. When he began in the industry in 1997, CFS fabrication was just beginning to be utilized. Josh is accustomed to and enjoys the challenges that come along with construction. One of his previous projects in Maputo, Mozambique in Africa involved assisting in managing 1,700 men on a single job site where 28 four-story apartment buildings were constructed in nine months’ time.
Mike Smith appreciates all the progress Josh has made. “Josh’s incredible knowledge of the CFS industry coupled with his excellent project management skills has positioned him to assist in growing All Steel to the next level. I am very happy to announce Josh as the Senior Project Manager for All Steel and look forward to seeing his ideas come to fruition.”
Bob Buettner joins the team as Project Manager
The newest addition to the All Steel team, Bob brings his enthusiasm and innovation-focused mindset to the team. With a background in prefabrication, Bob understands how CFS drives development in the construction industry and creates better processes. Bob believes that the best part of working in the industry is bringing new solutions to challenges that present themselves on projects.
“Bob’s background in prefabrication will be a great benefit to All Steel as we expand our reach and client base. We are excited to have Bob as part of the All Steel team and look forward to his contributions,” Mike Smith explained.
